KISSING IN PUBLIC (KIP)
Kissing in Public is an ongoing project which invites residents in Thailand to perform the act of, well, kissing in public. Wed like you to film this and share it with all of us. Check out our little short film that kicked start the project.
KIP is an exercise in socio-cultural politics. At the time where all the eyes in Thailand and the media focus on national politics, wed like to open up space, not only for debates, but real practices, on how the personal can and should be political, especially at this transitional period in Thai history.
After you upload your video on Youtube, Google Video, Vimeo, etc., please send us your link to kissinginpublic2008@gmail.com At the end of every month, well have the audience vote for the best clip. The winner will receive a free gift from Electric Eel Films.

เป็นโปรเจคท์ระยะยาวที่เชิญชวนพ่อแม่พี่น้องที่มีถิ่นพำนักอยู่ในประเทศไทยให้มาจูบกันในที่สาธารณะแล้วถ่ายเป็นภาพเคลื่อนไหว (movie) แล้วส่งมาที่เราเพื่อร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการทดลองทางวัฒนธรรมครั้งนี้ เชิญชมหนังสั้นตัวอย่างของเราที่เป็นจุดเริ่มของโปรเจคท์นี้
ในขณะที่ประเทศไทยกำลังเจอกับบททดสอบอันสำคัญในเรื่องการเมืองและเป็นเวลาที่อยู่ในช่วงหัวเลี้ยวหัวต่อของอะไรหลายๆอย่าง เราขอเสนอให้ท่านเบี่ยงเบนความสนใจจากเวทีการเมืองระดับประเทศชั่วคราว (โปรดอย่าตกเป็นเหยื่อใคร!) แล้วหันมามองการเมืองในระดับบุคคลกันบ้าง พื้นที่นี้เป็นของพวกเราทุกๆคน เราจึงไม่ควรมองข้ามมันไป
วันนี้คุณจูบใครในที่สาธารณะแล้วหรือยัง?
หลังจากที่คุณอัพโหลดวิดีโอของคุณบน Youtube, Google Video, Vimeo หรืออื่นๆ แล้วกรุณาอีเมลลิงค์ของคุณมาที่ kissinginpublic2008@gmail.com ทุกๆสิ้นเดือนเราจะมีการโหวตคลิปในดวงใจโดยให้ผู้ชมทางบ้านเป็นผู้ตัดสิน ผู้ชนะจะได้รับของที่ระลึกจากอิเล็คทริคอีลฟิล์มเป็นของรางวัล
